The Story Begins Over 40 Years Ago...
As a young mother with three daughters, Susanne Lively quickly identified a need for timeless, age appropriate fashion for children. With the sewing skills taught by her mother, Susanne began to design and sew in a spare bedroom in their small family home. Shortly after Susanne began to design, she landed an account with a high-end department store in the Houston, Texas area. This launched the Susanne Lively brand.
Today, Susanne Lively Designs operates out of the Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas area. Susanne’s designs can be found in upscale boutiques nationwide and a few exclusive department stores. Additionally, Susanne Lively Designs has appeared on the red carpet and many celebrities’ children throughout the years.
Susanne Lively Designs is full family endeavor. With Susanne’s husband as the owner, Susanne and two of her daughters run the daily operations of the company. To top it off, the grand daughters also play a role in the business as models for print and electronic media. The fortunate times when the grand daughters are at the business office, they are being taught the operation of the company. Ensuring that the next generation of Lively women will keep young girls best dressed for years to come!
